Nayely
I am a bilingual and bicultural, Spanish-speaking counselor dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space where you can speak your truth. I firmly believe that every person has the capacity for positive change, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.
Schedule ConsultationI am a bilingual/bicultural Spanish-speaking professional counseling associate in the state of Oregon. I am a mom, a wife, a believer in science, and a social justice advocate. I am a current high school counselor and have previously held employment in human services in both the child welfare and self-sufficiency programs. I am the oldest daughter of Mexican immigrants; I understand firsthand the external pressures of fulfilling the mythical "American Dream."
My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe and inclusive place for you to speak your truth and to help you develop coping skills. I firmly believe in rehabilitation; to me, this means a person is not their past actions, and every person has the capacity for positive change. Allow me to provide you with a judgment-free space to discuss specific issues and existential questions and/or enhance your overall well-being.
Drawing on both my professional training and my own lived experience, I understand how cultural expectations, family dynamics, and the pressures of building a life between two worlds can shape our mental health. I strive to honor each person's background, values, and story, and to make therapy a collaborative process where you feel respected, seen, and understood.
Whether you are working through anxiety, a difficult life transition, questions of identity and belonging, or simply seeking a space to be heard, I am here to support you without judgment. Taking the first step can feel daunting, and I want you to know that you do not have to do it alone.
*Ofrezco terapia bilingüe. Si usted prefiere podemos comunicarnos en español, inglés o ambos.*
