10. Appointment and Service Terms
Scheduling
- Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our website or by phone
- We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $150 fee
- No-shows are subject to a $150 fee
Payment
- Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made
- We accept major credit cards, insurance, and cash
- Invoices are provided for insurance billing purposes
- Late payments may result in suspension of services
Confidentiality
- All information shared during therapy sessions is confidential
- Confidentiality may be breached only in cases of imminent danger, abuse, or as required by law
- We comply with HIPAA and all applicable privacy laws
Telehealth Services and Informed Consent
- Our services are provided exclusively via telehealth using secure, real-time, two-way audio-video technology, consistent with applicable telehealth laws in the states we serve (including New Jersey's telehealth and telemedicine requirements).
- Services are provided only by clinicians licensed in the state where the client is located at the time of the session.
- Before beginning telehealth, you will be asked to provide informed consent (which may be oral, written, or digital).
- You have the right to refuse or discontinue telehealth services at any time without affecting your ability to seek in-person care.
- Telehealth services are held to the same standard of care as in-person treatment.
11. Limitation of Services
Our therapy services are provided by licensed mental health professionals. These services are not a substitute for emergency medical care. In case of a mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone or to terminate the therapeutic relationship if we determine that we are not the appropriate provider or if the client is not benefiting from our services.
